At Gratitude by Little Orange Hat, every order is packed with care and love. We want each box and book that leaves our studio to bring a little more kindness, connection, and joy into the world. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how we ship your items.
1. Processing Time
We hand-pack every order with care.
- Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days.
- During busy times (like holidays, launches, or special promotions), processing may take a little longer — but we’ll always do our best to get your order out as quickly as possible.
If there’s ever a significant delay with your order, we’ll notify you by email.
2. Shipping Locations & Rates
We currently ship within Canada and the United States.
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.
- Occasionally, we offer free or flat-rate shipping promotions — keep an eye on our newsletter or social media for updates!
At this time, we are unable to ship internationally outside of Canada and the USA.
3. Delivery Times
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the carrier’s service speed.
- Within Canada: typically 5–10 business days after shipment.
- Within the USA: typically 7–14 business days, depending on customs and local delivery times.
- Rural or remote areas may take a little longer.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details (if applicable).
4. Shipping Delays
We always aim to deliver your order promptly, but sometimes delays are beyond our control — such as:
- Peak seasons (like holidays or back-to-school periods)
- Postal service disruptions or strikes
- Customs processing (for U.S. orders)
- Severe weather or natural events
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding if this happens. Your order will always reach you as soon as possible.
5. Damaged or Missing Packages
If your order arrives damaged or appears lost in transit, please reach out to us at hi@littleorangehat.com within 14 days of delivery (or expected delivery).
We’ll work with you and the shipping carrier to make things right — whether that means a replacement, refund, or another solution.
6. Combined Orders & Preorders
If your order includes a preorder or an item that’s not yet available, we may ship all items together once everything is ready. If you’d prefer to receive available items first, just email us — we’re happy to accommodate when possible.
